Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

Artist's Description

This is one of fifteen paintings in my Chakra Rainbow Oil Painting Series. Each painting depicts a state of balance or imbalance in the human energy field.

The Fearful an imbalanced root chakra. A woman who had been battered and abused swiping her knife at an unseen intruder. This painting represents the fear of grave matters and the fear of impending doom based on past traumas. I did not paint this painting to glorify it's darker concepts but to speak to healthy fear in all of us of defensive tactics as a survival tool.

The guiding principals behind both The Fearful and the imbalance of the first chakra are the feeling of fear and threat of violence to our bodies. The figure guards a bloody wash bowl and draws blood from an unseen intruder.
